Sammi along with her manager and assistant went to watch the stage drama that is about Teresa Tang's life. Sammi went to support the actor and the actress which is her friend Cass Phang and Chen bo chu's son. Sammi cried for the stage drama, because the story was very touching. When the drama ended, Sammi went backstage to visit Cass. When they saw each other, they hugged a few times and Sammi held Cass's hand and won't let go. This is because Sammi have a long time didn't see Cass. Sammi joked with Cass's fake hair, Sammi said, "You should borrow it for me to do shows!" It makes Cass so excited. When hugging Cass, Sammi said, "I really envies your joyful life!" Cass answer back said, "You can be too!" But Sammi said, "have this but don't have the other." ( it means she choose her work, then she loss her love life) It showed Sammi look at work as important than love.

In one of the night from William So's concert, he said Sammi and Andy Hui's love had not changed. He revealed on Sammi's birthday, Sammi and Andy Hui went steam barbecue (don't know how to translate that, sorry with poor translations) their friends knew not be their "light bulbs", so they all left. But the reporters waited outside of Sammi's house on her birthday, they only saw Wallis Kwok, Sammi's manager went up to Sammi's house to eat. Is it Sammi at home that day? The reporters called up Wallis to ask what happen that day, he said he never ask about Sammi's private stuff, that night he celebrate at Sammi's house, he didn't see Andy Hui. When asked him if Sammi was never at home that day and is he planned with Sammi to hide from the reporters. He said, "haha! are we so smart? just joking, of course we are not, that night I did saw Sammi, but I don't know if she saw Andy Hui or not." When asked about Sammi feel so happy watching the stage drama, Wallis said, "Sammi was very happy these couple of days, she praised Cass for her acting after the drama ended, because it's not easy to act Teresa Tang's character."

On August 1st at about 9 o'clock, Sammi, her sister and assistant appear in the airport. When Sammi saw the reporters, she was happy and said " Me and my sister are going to vacation." When asked her to where, she kidding around and smile said "Going to Africa."

Sammi is not often talk about her love life. Every time when reporters said her best friend, Andy Hui's name, she just answered with a smile. When Sammi was little, she is no different than other girls. She would dream of when she get marry in the future, she choose to hold a western style party. Sammi said herself is not a very well planned person, she let everything go naturally. 

The public already view Sammi and Andy Hui as a pair. But they never admit their relationship to the public. In these few years, Sammi spent most time working. When asked Sammi when will she marry Andy Hui. She laughed out loud and said "Why do you ask this kind of question, I really don't know how to answer you. I am a no plan person, don't know why the public think I am well planned. I don't always think what to do the next step. But when I was little, I do think of if I get marry in the future, I like to hold a western style party, but I never think of what the living be like after marry."  

Even through Sammi spent a lot of time working, the family to Sammi is very important. In the earlier month, when Sammi's dad was in the hospital, Sammi took time from her work everyday to visit her dad. Sammi said " My family is very important to me, our relationships are very good. I always talk to my sister about dress up and make up stuff. She would tell me about babysitting stories. Also, me and my brother are always chatting. My dad likes to hear me talk about work stuff. He knew I worked very hard. He always gave me courage. One thing that I have never change from the day I became an artist till now is that whenever there is a big holiday, I always go back home to eat with my family." 

These few years, Sammi had very good result in the movie industry, such as the movie "Needing You" and  "Love on a Diet", the box office was excellent. Therefore, there was many rumors about her remuneration was $550 thousands. Sammi said " I never really analyze my own acting, if the audience like it, then that means good. As for the remuneration, even right now the market is not too good, but I always say if one day I see a good movie script, I can choose not to receive the remuneration. As for working with many directors, I feel very happy working with Johnnie To. But I still hope to work with other directors, such as Chen Ho Sun, Sylvia Cheung and Cheung Wan Ting." 

The movies that Sammi filmed before are mostly love dramas, but she didn't plan to change it. Sammi said " I already said myself is a no plan person, that's why I don't think about filming what kind of movie style, the most important thing is to act naturally, then that will end with a good result. Like in the movie "My Left Eye Sees Ghosts", it showed my acting is different than before. But from now on, I will select movie scripts, because I don't want to repeat the style that I had act before." 

When every artists come across a bad period of time, they think of leave the show biz, but Sammi don't have this thought. Sammi said " I didn't think of what year or day I need to leave the show biz, I know there is one of those day. But I still have many contracts right now, so it won't be too soon. The most important thing is I am happy and relax at this moment, because my manager, assistant and the working crew helped me a lot, many things I don't need to take care of and my career already running on track." 

Sammi went through many unhappy days. She said " It had been many years, I already get use to it, I don't mind too much now. I think happiness feels very relaxing. Working so many years, there must be some unhappy moments." 

As for other area, Sammi filmed many commercials, even SK-II invite Sammi to be the spokesman. About cosmetology, Sammi said " I don't go to do facial. I only smear face masks. If you want the skin to be pretty, when removing make-up, it has to be clean. I personally don't believe eating treatment. I eat everything, but drinking enough water is a very useful method." 

Confidence and smile is most important. Sammi said " When I perform on stage, I like to put on deep make-up, such as red lipstick and lemon green eye shadow. I think it makes me look very healthy and the eyes will look very shinny. No matter it's performing on stage or shooting a commercial, I think the most important thing is show off my confidence, plus a smile. Then it can show people my pretty side. The lipstick commercial that I shoot lately, I didn't think of how to act, acting naturally is good. Even through the shooting took 4 days, but the result came out very pretty. I am very happy about it."

Sammi had an interview with CR-2 radio station, when asked her did she mind talking her with Andy Hui. Sammi said " Already been talk about for many years, the fans already treat me like a old friend, wanted to know my love world and my future. I think everyone needs space to handle it, right now is space time. As an artist, I have to choose, if choosing career, then have to let go of family and love." When the compere said Andy had a weird hobbit, he needs the family to be there with him, but he don't like them to bother him; he scare of lonely. Sammi as a best friend of Andy, Sammi said " Is it? I really don't know." When asked she scare of lonely? She said "Can't be too quiet, I will find someone to eat with me." About the lesbian rumors, Sammi said it is a nonsense and she had nothing to talk about it.
